Magic Flute Films is dedicated to producing Feature Films, Shorts, and Documentaries that invite audiences to reexamine the world we live in, our human history, and our immediate future.  We are also dedicated to facilitating innovative forms of film production both technically and creatively from development to distribution.  Magic Flute Films works to bring visionary and talented individuals together to tell provocative stories of humanity; creating films that activate audiences to engage in topics such as human rights, environmentalism, and social transformation.

Magic Flute Films was founded in New York in 2001 by Renzo Zanelli Barreto as a small company producing shorts such as "Pamina: Hysteria in Mozart's Magic Flute".  Over the years the company began producing Shorts and Documentaries in South America and Africa.  In 2007 Magic Flute Films helped found Selva Rica, and organization in Peru dedicated to producing film projects with indigenous communities in the Amazon to generate awareness about the destruction of the rainforest.  Today, Magic Flute Films is producing feature films and documentaries in North America, Africa, South America, and Europe. The company pulls from an impressive network of talented Directors, Producers, DP's, Editors, and Animators all over the world to produce truly cutting edge and inspiring films.
